FLORENS: minimal with rhythm
Strict geometric purity for Florens, a Storage unit for the living area and dining room that is generous in its compact volumes, designed by Oscar and Gabriele Buratti. The monolithic shape of the pure solid form reveals the strong personality of Florens in the unexpected cut provided by the bronze-painted metal profile carved flush on the top, proposed in thermo-treated oak, matt or glossy lacquered, just like the structure or in the version in precious marble.
A horizontal sign that, hidden from view by the front panel of the lacquered or wooden door, forms the groove that functions as a handle. The absolute graphic purity of this detail, aesthetic and functional at the same time, also delineates the movement defining the side profile. The internal parts are also essential, made of Grey Velvet – an innovative ultra-matt material, highly resistant, yet velvety to the touch – with tempered glass tops and integrated lighting system.
Lema’s attention to detail is also evident in the internal accessories such as the cutlery holder in eco-leather. Another distinctiveness of the internal parts is given by the absence of exposed joints, even if the sideboard can be completely disassembled and is adjustable. Florens can be complemented by a wooden upper part with open-faced compartments enriched with removable wooden trays inspired by the cabinetmaking tradition.
